Letaba restcamp, known as the river of sand is one of the Kruger National Park’s premium verdant green camps, shaded under the prominent sycamore fig trees.
The tone of the camp is set by its stunning surroundings, the vibrant plant life and animal populations lends to its life and color.
Larger animals such as the elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah and waterbuck as well as the smaller vervet monkeys and tree squirrels can all be seen in the area surrounding Letaba Camp.
Accommodation at the restcamp is facilitated with fridges, air conditioners and airy verandas for those hot African summer days.
The bungalows come with en-suite bathroom units and fully equipped kitchenettes.
Letaba Camp offers fantastic bird watching opportunities. Barred, pearlspotted and Scops owls can be seen around the camp, including the Giant Eagle Owl which is regularly spotted along the river. Brown Headed Parrots and Green Pigeons can be found in the tree canopies.
