A private game reserve has a limit on the number of guests on the reserve at any one time meaning you can fully enjoy the wildlife in their natural habitat.  These reserves have no fences between themselves and the Kruger National Park so animals may roam freely. Private Game Reserves use their own specially designed vehicles that are usually open top allowing you to have better unobstructed sightings. They are often 4x4 vehicles allowing you to get off the beaten track onto dirt roads getting you closer to the animals. Most game lodges are small and intimate which allows for a better safari experience.
