Care For Wild Rhino Sanctuary is located on a beautiful game reserve in the heartland of Mpumalanga, South Africa, where we’ve set up a treatment and care center where we can tend to injured or orphaned animals from the KrugerNational Park until they are well enough to be rehabilitated into the wild. Petronel Nieuwoudt, the founder of Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary NPC, is one of the few people worldwide who has specialized in the care of orphaned and injured rhinos, and her passion is truly inspiring. On completion of your visit to the Rhino Sanctuary you will then have the opportunity to spend two nights in the World Renowned Kruger National Park where you may spend time observing our Big 5 and Birdlife as well as spending time viewing Rhino’s in the wild.

October 2016
"Our guide was Gert and it ended up being myself and my fiance only on the your, despite not having booked a private safari. Gert was brilliant. His knowledge of the park, animals and birds was encyclopaedic and entertaining. He had a great dry sense of humour, laid back and tried to facilitate our requests. The accommodation and food etc were nice, but the safari was just great. Highly recommended."

Three of us did the budget/economy tour and were surprised at how amazing it was for being a "budget tour". The drive to/from Johannesburg with Dez was smooth. The lodge was perfect; a really nice place and the meals were delicious. The best part of the tour was our guide, Robbie Williams. Robbie is extremely experienced and with him we saw the big 5 plus more. I would recommend nhongo to anyone!

Robbie was the most fantastic guide! He really took his time to explain everything to us and went out of his way to give us the best experience/time. Waking up for a game drive with him even after a short night was the biggest pleasure and we couldn't have asked for anything better!! Thank you so very much!!
